Our Team
Kim Patrikios - Founder and Director
Kim has been working in the tourism industry for the past 6 years, coming from an extensive career in marketing and sales. Her career started with working for Lufthansa in Cape Town while she studied her BCOMM degree through UNISA. She then moved into working for Investec and Coronation Fund Managers for years, taking gaps in between to travel and work around the globe.
Her love and passion for Africa, as well as travelling, brought her back to Johannesburg, South Africa, to start her own business – Sun and Safari Travel.
Sian Bester and Cara Lloyd share a passion for Africa and love pouring all of their experience into personally tailored safari experiences for clients. They have worked in lodges across Southern Africa and at one the continent's biggest luxury tour operators. Between them, they've planned and booked thousands of bespoke itineraries over the past decade. They've both travelled extensively across Africa and won't send you anywhere they've not checked out first.
Sian studied nature conservation, doing the ranger thing in private reserves in South Africa's Eastern Cape before heading up to Botswana's Okavango Delta and falling into tourism. Sian calls Cape Town home, loves hiking up the mountains and the laid-back lifestyle South Africa's Mother City is famous for.
Cara has worked in top-end lodges in Namibia and South Africa. She owns a wonderful guest house in Johannesburg (while living in Cape Town herself) and is a mum to two young boys, which keeps her on her toes.
